Metro Rail
This is a photo of our subway here in the Washington D.C. area. It is actually stopping at the King Street stop in Alexandria. The Metro or subway runs between Washington D.C., Virginia and Maryland. Most of the time the Metro is a great source of transportation, it is quick, clean and fairly safe. I would recommend it to anyone visiting this area!!!

Nice to hear enthusiatic comments about a public transport system! They certainly make life easier when they work.
This photo remind me of the El in Chicago. Thank goodness for efficient public transportation systems.
Some transportations systems seem to run so well and others leave so much to be desired. I took that metro in the mid ninetys and it was great.
