View From Up High

This is the view from the top of the Washington monument looking at Virginia which is on the other side of the Potomac river. The Lincoln memorial is at the very end and the World War II memorial is the circular stone structure down towards the bottom middle of the photograph.

I really like this photo. It's great to have a sense of where the buildings are and to see them from a diffent angle.
The memorials are very classical, easy on the eye.

but you mean... you took this photo from the top of the monument you showed yesterday?? I thought it was made of stone... hmmmm... I think I'm VERY wrong...
ANd I have another question... is that place where Forrest Gump made his speech in the film and Jenny found him? hahaha it's just I loved that movie :)

This is one of my favorite views you can see so far, almost to my house I am sure I can see my b&q furniture in my back yard from here.
